Josh Duhamel and his wife, Audra Mari, have announced they’re expecting their first baby together, and ex-wife Fergie has taken to the comments.
Fergie and Josh were a celebrity power couple for 8 years, before announcing their split in 2017. They welcomed their only son, Axl Jack in 2013 who remains the music star’s only child.
Fergie reacts to Josh Duhamel’s baby announcement
Taking to Instagram, Hollywood actor Josh, 50, and his wife, model Audra Mari, 29, took to Instagram to share the happy news with their followers.
In the picture, the couple held a baby scan picture in an aesthetic background of flowers and coffee table books.
In the caption, they simply wrote: “Baby Duhamel coming soon”.
Fans and celebrity friends rushed to the comments to congratulate the couple on their upcoming new arrival, including the Black Eyed Peas alum who penned:
“I am truly happy for you guys [love heart emojis] Axl can’t wait to be a big brother.”
The baby will be the couple’s first child together, which was announced exactly one year after their marriage.
Josh and Fergie’s relationship timeline
Duhamel and Fergie’s love story began all the way back in 2004 when the Black Eyed Peas were filming a cameo on a show Josh was starring in at the time.
Cut to 2007 and the couple were engaged, three years after meeting. At the start of 2009, the celeb couple said “I do” in Malibu, California.
Four years later, the couple announced they were expecting their first child, Axl Jack, who was born in August 2013.
The family was together for four years until the celeb couple, unfortunately, announced they were going their separate ways in September 2017.
In a joint statement, the couple penned: “With absolute love and respect, we decided to separate as a couple earlier this year. To give our family the best opportunity to adjust, we wanted to keep this a private matter before sharing it with the public. We are and will always be united in our support of each other and our family.”
