After missing a memorial for his godfather King Constantine of Greece and sparking concern (and a slew of wild internet conspiracy theories about his wife Kate Middleton's whereabouts), Prince William is back to performing his royal duties and making public appearances. Although Middleton is sitting out events for the time being to recover from her abdominal surgery at home, it seems the Princess of Wales is still there in spirit.
William visited the Ysgol yr Holl Saint All Saints' Primary School, where he chatted with young students before being gifted with some souvenirs for his children and Middleton. In a video shared to X (formerly known as Twitter), William can be seen interacting with three kids who handed him plush red dragons (one for each of his kids: Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis), as well as a giant bouquet of flowers. As the prince accepts the gift he says, "That's really kind. I'll pass those onto Catherine, as well. Thank you very much guys."

This isn't even the first time this week that William has accepted flowers on his wife's behalf. On Thursday, the prince attended an event at Western Marble Arch Synagogue, where he spoke with Holocaust survivor Renee Salt, as well as Jewish students. During his visit, he received an arrangement from the chief executive of the Holocaust Educational Trust, Karen Pollock, seen in a video obtained by the Daily Mail. "These are for Her Royal Highness," Pollock said. "We just want to wish her well, and we're looking forward to seeing her very soon."
Prince William also addressed his wife by expressing both of their concerns during a discussion on the rise of antisemitism. “Antisemitism has no place in our society," he said, per People. "Both Catherine and I are extremely concerned about the rise of antisemitism."
William may have given us a few crumbs about Middleton's recovery, but don't expect more in depth updates from him or the palace. According to a former royal aide, the family is mainly concerned with protecting Kate's privacy and only "a really small bubble of people" know what is truly going on behind the scenes.
"Anyone who expects the palace to suddenly start giving lengthy updates on Kate will be disappointed," the former staffer told the Daily Beast. "The principal aim of her being sequestered is to guard her privacy. I’m sure the press hate it because it is working. There is a really, really small bubble of people who know exactly what is going on."
