The Japanese man, who purchased a collie costume for the dog transformation, has gone viral on social media multiple times after sharing videos of his journey. The Tokyo-based star recently posted a video of his first public walk among other dogs and the video has raised many eyebrows online.
Japanese YouTuber turns into collie for $14k
A Japanese YouTuber called Toco paid $14,000 to turn into a collie and fulfill his childhood dream of becoming an animal.
He runs a YouTube channel, titled I want to be an animal, where he documents videos of his transformations and doing some typical dog activities.
“My dream of becoming an animal came true in this way!” he shared in one post.
The social media star purchased the costume of a Border Collie from a Japanese company that specializes in costumes for movies.

The Japanese star shared his first video of taking a walk among the public in a park where he interacted with dogs and dog owners.
The original video was filmed by the German TV station RTL last year and shared by the YouTuber with the media’s permission.
The video shows Toco next to real dogs in the park and a number of pets sensed that the Border Collie wasn’t exactly like them. You can watch the video below:

Toco’s video has garnered whopping 5.7 million views since it was published and YouTube users shared their honest opinions in the comments.
